Hello from Big Love Coffee,

Before we get to the coffee part, here is a little background on "Big Love" and how we got here. Pour yourself a fresh cup of coffee and let's begin!

Working 20 plus years building a career becoming a Master Stylist lead to being published in multimedia around the world known as “Big Love Cuts.” Educating for large, top tier, companies while climbing the ranks as a leader and influencer in the hair industry. 

This also allowed the privilege to tour with many bands as a personal stylist earning the nick name "Big Love." Working from live shows to music videos, even earning front cover titles such as "Vans Warped Tour Stylist" .. Yeah, I know that just hit the nostalgia button for some of us.

The coffee community is where I have always felt comfortable whether touring, traveling, relaxing at home or passing on my knowledge to students, clients or friends. I love my career in hair, making people feel so loved and confident, as well as sharing a delicious cup of coffee and conversation with anyone.

When the world changed in 2020 I also began to change. I started pivoting towards actually roasting coffee not knowing what the future would look like. We literally started completely over, even moving states!

This brings us to the present. 

I was able to link up with a local Artisanal Roaster when my wife and I first moved 3 years ago. We agreed to barter hair cutting in exchange for learning the basics of roasting coffee. This started out with using popcorn roasters, which I used to study the beans for the first two years, until I was blessed with the ability to upgrade my roasting situation to the next level.

After the first couple batches, I felt comfortable enough to have people start trying them and the reception has been humbling and beyond what I could have imagined! 

At Big Love Coffee, we spread love one roast at a time. I like to personally label, stamp and sign every bag ensuring quality, love and care goes into each purchase, just like I put into my hair career.
